Whenever I think of a rainstorm I think of darkened skies,
thunder rolling in the distance, and the sight and sound of the rain falling. I never before thought of how light plays into
it all. It’s almost like an early warning system. Though you may not realize
it, you notice the sunlight slowly dimming as the storm approaches. As it hits and reaches its peak the sky its as
you would think, dark. When the storm runs at its end, the sky brightens, not necessarily
to how it was before the storm started but brighter than at its peak. I find it interesting that you don’t see the actual
storm outside to track its movements.
