A Scare in the Night

Everyone fears seeing flashing lights in their rear view mirror.  That can only mean one thing, you’re in trouble. But sometime the flashing lights can fool you. I don’t mean that the cops are coming after you, but that the lights aren’t from a cop car at all.  This happens to me almost every time I drive down Colonial Drive at night. There is this sign that would flash different colors and words that I would have to pass.  When I first moved down here that sign would scare the living daylights out of me. Every time it flashed blue and red I thought I was on the verge of being pulled over. I felt really stupid when I found out it was just an automated sign. Just goes to show that you should look at your surrounding before freaking out.
